What's in my make up bag?

This week I wanted to share with you all the make up related items i've been loving recently. My make up collection is quite small (if I had too much i'd never use half of it!) So without further ado just keep on reading if you'd like to know what is in my make up bag! I've not mentioned lip products though, as I've got another post coming up where I talk about some new ones i've been trying out - stay tuned for that!

FACE

Concealers
I have gone through so many tubes of the Maybelline Instant Anti-Age Eraser Eye Concealer due to the fact it blends in so well and is one of those products that you can wear easily without foundation. I'm not one for anything Ant-ageing (yet!) at the mere age of 23, but this concealer is just a must in my makeup bag and is also really good for covering up redness too. I tend to use this one on my face compared to the Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer. It is a two in one concealer and highlighter so this means it is more illuminating and conceals signs of tiredness really well (it's a life saver during early mornings!) so I tend to use this more under the eye area.

Foundations
The foundation that I wore for ages was the Estee Lauder Double wear and I absolutely loved it for its amazing staying power and coverage (back in the days when I had quite bad acne). Now by skin has improved, I was thrilled when they introduced Double wear Light. It works just as well as the original one, but is no where near as heavy but still gives great coverage during times when I need it. Another two i've also been wearing is the Rimmel Match Perfection foundation and Laura Mercier Mineral Powder. I tend to wear Laura Mercier more in the summer months, as it gives me coverage and stops by skin getting oily due to the heat, but i still keep it in the makeup bag. Rimmel Match Perfection is a great budget foundation, it's really easy to apply but i'd say it's light to medium coverage and had good staying power! I'd say it is great to wear throughout the day and it also has SPF 20 - win!

Powders
I tend to not go high end when it comes to powders, this is partly because I haven't tried many but also because I've been so impressed with the budget ones. First on the list is the No 7 perfectly bronzed dual bronzer, I like this one as it gives you the option of two shades but I tend to mix them together to get the perfect bronzed glow. It also sits on top of foundation really well and doesn't feel too heavy. A second favourite of mine in the bronzer department is the Soap and Glory Solar Powder Bronzer. This is a lighter shade compared to the No 7 one, so if I'm going for more of a natural look, then I'll definitely pick this one. It blends in really nicely with the foundation and has a nice sheen to it also to give your skin a subtle glow. When I'm not wearing bronzer then I'll always go back to the trusty Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder, it completely does the job and is so worth the money (it's only £3.99!). Lastly, I use just a no 7 blusher. I'm not a fan of blushers really and this is the only one in my make up bag. However, this product does give my cheeks a nice rosy colour and also stays on very well, so can't complain really! The only thing i'd say really is that it's quite pigmented so I wouldn't use a lot, a little goes a long way.

EYES

Brows
I'm very hit and miss when it comes to eye make up as I do have quite oily eye lids, therefore, I always have the problem of it smudging or wearing off after a few hours. There's still quite a few products i'd like to try but these ones have never failed me. Even though I love the Benefit Brow Zings brow shaping kit, the L'Oreal Brow Artiste Genius kit is amazing for a fraction of the price! It makes filling in my eyebrows really easy and is just the perfect colour for me. A massive thumbs up!

Eyeliners
When it comes to eyeliners, there are three on the menu. For a good, every day eye liner that stays on then the Rimmel Exaggerate Eyeliner is the best of the bunch. I have the worlds most oily eyelids so not many eyeliners stay on, but this one does and it's so inexpensive! If I wear eyeliner under my eyes for a a party or dinner out, then I'll also wear the Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Liner. This products has highly concentrated pigments and claims to be smudge-proof/waterproof for 24 hours. For the £7.99 price tag, it completely lives up to its expectations and is a great gel liner. Thirdly, the Estee Lauder Little Black Liner is a great one to have and is an excellent eyeliner. It goes on really well and is amazing if you like the cat eye flick. It also has two different applications so you can go from a daytime to evening eye look in just one product. This one is perfect to have in your handbag if you're rushing to a dinner or event after a busy day at work.

Mascara
I'm a bit hit and miss when it comes to mascaras - i've tried high end and low end ones but i've always seemed to get bored of mascaras really easily. The one i'm giving a go at the moment is the Maybelline Lash Sesentional Lash Multiplying Mascara and so far I am actually quite impressed with it. It definitely lengthens your lashes and gives them volume. However, when I purchased this I thought it was waterproof so I'm looking forward to testing that version out. When it comes to eye makeup, it seems to run off so easily on me, so anything waterproof is top of my list.

Have you tried any of these? What make up products can't you live without? any recommendations?
