9. My healthy breakfast (and snack...)

Breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day and it is one that in the past I’ve tended to skip (bad me...) This year, I’ve made it a thing that I want to get fitter but also concentrate on what I put in my body as well. Days get quite busy for me and I find myself rushing out the door with a banana - (I guess you could eat worse things...) But so far making sure I have a healthy breakfast has actually really improved my mood, energy and just given me more a 'get up a go' vibe. Give me a comment if you have any amazing breakfast ideas, I’d love your recommendations.... 

First on the menu is a bowl of porridge.. I always buy just the oats and add as much milk as I think I need. Recently, I’ve added a low calorie sweetener with it but I also like to add raspberries/blueberries or honey with it as well - what else is nice on porridge? Blueberries and raspberries are my absolute favourite fruits and do wonders for your skin, so I’ve been told! I'll always make sure I either have them with my porridge or just a small bowl as a snack. Yummy. Lastly, I couldn't not tell you about my favouite healthy snack that i'm literally obsessed with at the moment. I understand this isn't great for people who are allergic to peanuts but if you aren't, try chopping up a banana and adding a dollop of peanut butter on top. You'll thank me later.
