7 Things I Would Love To Do This Summer

Now I have finished my 2nd year of university and finished my deadlines (THANK GOODNESS), I now have a lot of free time to blog again! While I sit outside and see the blue skies, fresh green grass and hear the birds chirping in the trees, It has made me so incredibly excited for Summer, yaaaay! Can you believe it's June already? Mad.

So, I wanted to talk about all the things I would love to do and what I am looking forward to this summer and hope it gives you some inspiration for your own lists.

Go on a spa day/weekend: I've never been on a spa day/weekend, so I think summer will be perfect time to go on one. I think going to a spa is important for you to unwind and forget about everything, so my aim will be to try and do this. My birthday is in August so a few days at a spa, maybe with my mum/sister or friends will be just what I need.

Spending time with my boyfriend in Cornwall: I go to university in Cornwall, so I am lucky enough to get to spend quite a lot of time down here any way, I'm keeping my studio flat over the summer so me and my boyfriend will be spending a week down here just chilling, relaxing and enjoying Cornwall for what it is (and I won't be at uni and doing deadlines. THANK GOODNESS.

Beach days: One of the greatest things about summer is that you can spend loads of time on the beach. I'm not really the type of person to do this every single day on a holiday but it is nice to have the option! when I got to Cornwall, this is definitely happening. Unfortunately I don't live near a beach at home so I make the most of it when I can.

Read a book (or books): I have to be one of the WORST book readers of all time. I buy books (and never read them) or I start reading them and then stop and forget about it or I go on to a different one. I swear I have about 5 books that I've started reading and not finished. Hopefully now I have alot more free time, I can really start to enjoy reading again. It's also the perfect to do sat out in the sunshine.

Long evening walks: Ooooh the longer lighter evenings, don't we just love them. Now it doesn't get dark until about 10pm, I am determined to do a lot more walking. I also just love taking in the lovely scenery and the beautiful smell of fresh grass and flowers. Perfect.

Go to London: London is one of my all time favourite places but unfortunately I don't get to go very often.  From my house it takes about 2 hours (ish) direct to London so I am hoping I get to fit a nice city break over the next few months and do some sightseeing! I'm also going to be doing a weeks work experience with Closer magazine in August which is exciting, so that gives me an excuse to go there. I'm also excited to go and visit the LUSH Oxford Street store. (Now I work for Lush where I live, it's definitely top of my priority list!)

Turning 22: On the 19th August, I am turning 22.  ("I don't know about you, but i'm feeling 22!") Yes, you were singing it in your head. I'm not sure what I am going to do yet, so if anyone has any cool birthday fun ideas, please do let me know!
