BEAUTY: DECEMBER FAVOURITES

Another month gone, another favourites post (well even another year gone!) can you believe it?! I haven't done a favourites post in a while, so I thought my blog was in need of one. A few things that I have loved and been using vigorously through December are:

Garnier Ultimate Blends 'The Marvellous Transformer' Shampoo and Garnier Ultimate Blends 'The Sleek Restorer' Conditioner have been a god send. With a lot of shampoo and conditioners, I feel that they make my hair greasy or don't give my hair a good enough clean most of the time. During winter, my hair felt like it was getting very damaged and dry due to the cold whether and just always looked flat and dull. After discovering these products, oh my goodness my hair is back! They give my hair a very good clean, whilst making sure my hair stays full of life and moisturised. My hair hasn't looked so good in a long time! The shampoo and conditioner also smell absolutely amazing, this shampoo contains Argan Oil and the conditioner has Coconut Oil and Cocoa Butter in. But they too together and you'll be wanting to smell your hair all day. (Seriously!)

B.True Micellar Water was actually a product I decided to buy because it was on offer, at the time this micellar water was half the price of the Garnier one which I always buy, So i decided to give this one a go as I had never tried any other ones before. It is amazing for getting eye make up off, actually any make up for that matter. But with me having a lot of Christmas gatherings over December, I always spiced things up on the make up front and wore a lot of eye make up, including eyeshadow and a lot of sparkle, it is great with getting it all off! I really love this product, value for money wise, it is more expensive than the Garnier one as for £4.99 you get 400ml and with the same price for this one you only get given 150ml but a little goes a long way!

Palettes, palettes, palettes. Two that I loved during December were the And God Created The Woman Nars eye palette and Seventeen Instant Glow shimmer brick. The Nars eye palette contains 6 different autumnal/wintery shades, it comes it a little travel size as well, so it is perfect when you are travelling around a lot over a busy time like Christmas! The palette comes with a good sized mirror for application in a good sturdy black case. Christmas is all about glow and sparkle at Christmas time so the Seventeen shimmer brick was perfect palette to have as well. It comes with four different colours. You sweep the brush through all 4 shades then lightly dust onto cheekbones.

Other beauty favourites have been Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation - Read by review here!, Essie Nail Varnish 'Set in Stones', which is a lovely nail varnish to put on top of colour to make it look all sparkly or can be worn on it's own. Miss Manga Mascara by L'oreal Paris, this mascara just really make your eyelashes look amazing, but I haven't found a drugstore mascara yet that i've thought 'wow!' and always repurchase, are there any drugstore mascaras anyone would recommend?, the Contour and Buffing Brushes from Real Techniques, trusty favourites, great make up brushes which can be found in pretty much any drugstore store and Colour Tattoo 24 Hr by Eyestudio eye shadow, Maybelline in the colour 05 Eternal Gold, a lovely golden coloured eye shadow, has great staying power and just makes your eyes look all christmassy and lovely!

Have you tried any of these? what have been your favourites over christmas?

Also, I would love some recommendations of drugstore (high street) mascaras, so please feel free to comment below if you know of any good ones!

I also wanted to ask what kind of blog posts you were up for reading this year, as I love to write what I love to write about but I would also like to write about things that you would love to read to!

So PLEASE comment, I love reading them!

Happy weekend!

xxxxxxxxxx
