Autumn Fashion Haul!

Over the weekend, I decided to go on a bit of a shopping spree to purchase some new items for my Autumn/Winter wardrobe. After the summer, I went through a bit of a 'clearing out of my wardrobe' phase and was in need of getting some new things. When i go shopping, i tend to buy a few staple pieces in stead of going absolutely mad, I prefer quality over quanity so i would rather spend more of a few items than less on alot.

The first thing I bought was a pair of black skinny jeans from Topshop as my wardrobe was in definite need of a pair! I find that the jeans are really good quality there and they last me a long time before I had to buy another pair, so I don't mind spending the money on them. The jeans are extremely comfortable and also fit me perfectly around my waist and legs (what more could you want!). Another item on my list was a checked shirt, as i realised I didn't even own one, I find a checked shirt can be dressed up or down and will go with pretty much anything. I bought this one from New Look. It's got lovely dark purple and pinky colours in and is just really nice to wear under a jump or cardigan with a shirt or jeans.

Whilst I was out, I remembered how much I have wanted this navy backpack from Accessorize. Starting my second year at university, getting a new bag was on my priority list. I don't know why i didn't get this bag sooner! It has been a life saver; it's sturdy, strong and fits all of my books and essentials in perfectly. It has loads of different compartments for you to put all your belongings in too.

You know when you go through all of your earrings and you realise you have several earrings which are odd? Yep, that happened to me! So buying earrings was on the agenda, so got a set of earrings too. I like wearing plain earrings, so this set from Accessorize was perfect.

I ended up taking another trip into New Look whilst I was out (whoops!) and bought a pair of black heels boots with a gold buckle on. I'm not really a massive fan of heels and I hate wearing them on nights out, but when you are tiny person like me (5ft!) I always feel like a need a bit of height next to be taller friends. So I decided that these boots would be perfect to get as they give me a bit of height whilst also being comfortable at the same time. I also picked up a tartan top and a black cardigan whilst I was in there too; I feel this top would be great to put with jeans and boots or a high waisted skirt. The black cardigan was an essential purchase as it goes with absolutely everything and I didn't have anything to just put on when i felt a bit chilly around the house or underneath a thick autumn/winter coat.

As it's got into a new season, the way my skin is tends to change. I've been extremely lazy with skincare recently, but a lot of people in the past have recommended Liz Earle skincare range to me. I noticed that they had a counter in boots, so I decided to buy a 'try me' kit from them. It contains the Clean and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser, Instant Boost Skin Tonic, Skin Repair Moisturiser (Normal/Combination) and a brightening treatment mask. I have been using this for about 3 days now and I am definitely seeing a dramatic change to my skin. I still suffer with mini outbursts with my skin so hopefully this will keep it a lot more balanced.

I would love to see what you have bought for the Autumn, see me your links if you have done a post on it!
