Today, I thought I should talk to you about why I started this blog.

Last year, I decided to head off to university to start a Journalism degree, I thought I need to start really practising my writing skills, so I decided to set up a blog.

When I finally went to Uni, it was the most overwhelming experience. I didn't know anyone, I was so far away from home and I did feel really alone. Starting this blog helped me get through the first term at university, which I found the hardest. I spoke to people online that were also bloggers too and I didn't feel so bad any more whilst being there. Also, I was doing something which I enjoyed which made me feel a whole lot better.

In the second semester at University, I made some really close friends with people on my course. I then realised that even though this blog helped me get through a tough time at university, that I was really passionate about writing. It helped me realise that I was definitely on the right course, whilst finding my friends at university who I know I will be friends with for a very long time.

Why did you start your blog?
